Blakey just wrapped up a PTC Powerhouse Intensive—and the progress has been incredible to watch! From day one to now, the growth in strength, confidence, and skill has been nothing short of amazing.

These intensives are no joke, and the hard work, dedication, and determination truly paid off. So proud of this journey and excited to see what’s next! 👏✨

Learning that leads to better outcomes!

This weekend, Baily and Kate completed advanced training in Seating and Wheeled Mobility assessment and interventions, gaining valuable knowledge to better evaluate positioning, improve mobility, and recommend equipment that helps children participate more fully in everyday life.

By continuing to grow their expertise, they’re helping ensure our patients receive the most appropriate support for comfort, function, independence, and overall quality of life. We’re proud of their dedication to bringing the best possible care back to PTC!

Meet Mat Man 👀

Mat Man isn’t just a fun activity—he’s a powerful tool in occupational therapy! From building body awareness and spatial concepts to strengthening fine motor skills, Mat Man helps kids understand how their bodies are put together… literally 🧠💪

Through play, children develop:
✔️ Pre-writing skills
✔️ Visual-motor integration
✔️ Body awareness & sequencing
✔️ Confidence in their abilities

And the best part? They don’t even realize how much they’re learning because they’re having SO much fun!

We’re proud to support an incredible opportunity for local families! 💙⚽

PTC is a sponsor of the CU Abilities Soccer Camp, hosted by Creighton Men’s & Women’s Soccer and the Creighton Department of Physical Therapy.

This unique camp is designed for kids ages 6–13 with special needs, giving every child the chance to participate, build confidence, and have fun. Each camper is paired 1:1 with a Creighton Physical Therapy student, while players from the Creighton soccer teams lead drills—creating a truly inclusive and supportive experience. And yes… Billy Bluejay will be there too! 🐦

📅 When: Friday, July 17, 2026
⏰ Check-in at 8:45 AM | Camp runs 9:00–11:00 AM
📍 Where: Morrison Stadium, Creighton University

👨‍👩‍👧 Campers must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

PTC is proud to be a sponsor of the CU Abilities Basketball Camp, hosted by Creighton Men’s & Women’s Basketball and the Creighton Department of Physical Therapy.

Campers are paired 1:1 with a Creighton Physical Therapy student, while Creighton basketball players lead drills like ball handling, passing, and shooting.
