Today on Pregnancy & Infant Remembrance Day we honor the little ones who are forever held in love. 🤍

Tiny lives who whispered love into the world, the hearts that beat for only a moment.

To the parents who carry love in the shape of longing,
you are not alone.
Your baby’s light still shines through you, illuminating a love that time cannot fade.

Tonight at 7pm, we join the Wave of Light a candle for every life, a glow for every story, a prayer for every heart.

Did you know cutting the cord isn’t the only way to separate baby from their placenta?

Cord burning is a gentle, ceremonial alternative. It’s done after the cord has completely stopped pulsing, allowing families to slow down, connect with the moment, and honor baby’s transition to life outside the womb.

All you need is a cord burning box (or even a pan wrapped in foil), two candles, and a little patience. Some families use this time to share blessings, hopes, or intentions for their baby’s life as the cord slowly separates. (Ask me if I cry every time hearing their words 🥲)
Cord burning makes for a beautiful way to bring reverence and mindfulness into the first moments earthside.
