In this season where we lean into the longing of waiting for Christ to come, let's remember that ache is part of a life lived for him. We deeply desire the promised restoration. Romans 8 talks about all of creation groaning, as if in childbirth. The pain is not pleasant, but its very existence is a guarantee of a new life to come. He will turn your hurt into blessing. In Jesus' upside-down kingdom, what appears to be loss is actually gain.

We can't ever see the whole path. But our God can, and He has promised to be with us always. Trust the Voice that is leading you. He will help you take the next step, and He knows what is good.
