✨✨✨✨As this week comes to an end, I want to take a minute and thank you all for trusting Chateau on the Ridge to care for your loved ones. We are the "Activity Team" my name is Melissa and my assistant is Anna! This week was Activity Professional week, and I just want to say how proud I am to be part of a role that brings smiles, purpose, and meaningful moments to others. We had the best small chat today; hot cocoa and cookies.  But what almost brought me to tears was when we were talking about the quilts that their mamas had made for them, Glenn goes and gets this beautiful quilt that his mama had made for him, and I looked at the stitching and I thought by hand every little stitch she did , so of course I had to show them my quilt that was given to me by a former residents family. 🥹 it means more to me than anything. It stays on top of my closet, but I got it out the other day and looked at it, and I thought her little hands made this. I just get emotional when I think about it . Bonnna Mae showed me her quilt that a neighbor made her. I learned today; they have names. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ my quilt is a wedding ring quilt. Glenn's is a double wedding ring quilt and Bonn's Mae's is a flower quilt. 🌸🌸

Thank you to our maintenance crew for clearing our parking lots and side walks ❄️❄️ they have been working in the cold since Sunday to make sure our staff, residents and visitors are safe.

Happy Monday friends!!! We started our Monday off strong!💪 Jazzercise, Devotional, BINGO and ended with Cardio Drumming.🥁🥁 we hope everyone is safe and staying warm.

Alma got to celebrate her 98th birthday with her family. 🧁🧁 so happy for her. Still missing 2 daughters that couldn't make it because of weather.
