💪 Topic Tuesday: Core Strengthening & Balance Activities
Building core strength and balance helps support posture, coordination, and overall movement skills. Here are a few fun ways to work on these skills at home:
🐻 Bear Crawl
Hands and feet on the floor with hips up. Move forward or backward to build core strength and coordination.
🦀 Crab Walk
Hands and feet on the floor with belly up. Move sideways or backward to strengthen core muscles and upper body.
⚖️ Balance on One Foot
Challenge balance by standing on one foot—add tossing a ball to increase difficulty!
🔄 Seated Twists
Sit cross-legged and twist side to side while reaching for toys or placing items into a bin.
Simple movements like these can make a big difference when practiced through play!
