Our local EMS joined us for an engaging discussion about services available at our medical center, the high‑quality care we provide, and our expanded Emergency Department.

The discussion was led by Dr. Greg Charles Sorkin, Chair of Emergency Medicine, and Linda Zieman, Director of Nursing Emergency Department

President and CEO Debbie Visconi kicked off our Epic early education and orientation initiative this week — marking a major milestone in our transformation journey.

The day was about our people. The clinicians, analysts, nurses, physicians, and operational leaders who will bring this system to life and help us deliver safer, more connected, and more coordinated care for every patient we serve.

We’re grateful to Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and our Bergen County Board of Commissioners for their continued partnership and support, our board trustees, especially Kyung Hee Choi who was in attendance at the kickoff, and to Dr. Eric Friedman and Bergen Community College for hosting us as we begin this important next chapter.

The journey ahead will take commitment, collaboration, and heart, and our team has all three. The future of care at Bergen New Bridge is BIG and BRIGHT with Epic.
