The opening of The Lion’s HUB at Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology was recently featured in ROI-NJ highlighting a new approach to making behavioral health care more accessible for students and families in Paterson.

The Lion’s HUB brings Care Plus NJ services directly into the school setting, offering therapy, care coordination, crisis support, and family services for students in grades K–12 with connections to additional care when needed.

By meeting students where they are, this partnership helps remove barriers, support overall well-being, and create a stronger foundation for both academic and personal success.

Representing the organization, Ann Marie Zihal, Senior Vice President of CCBHC Strategies & Innovation, highlighted the impact of the CCBHC model in expanding access to care, strengthening community-based services, and ensuring individuals and families receive timely, person-centered support.
