Another successful 'No Sew Blanket' event as a group of 9th graders from the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Ridgewood chose this volunteerism as their Confirmation Service Project. With help from Barbara Mills, Bette Moore and Gerry Pehush, these boys presented the Valley Health System Volunteer Office with 20 blankets today. These blankets will provide comfort to both pediatric and adult patients at Valley Hospital.

What’s not to love about chocolate?
Join the Ramsey Branch of the VHA for an hour-long workshop at Chocolates Etc., 391 Franklin Avenue, Wyckoff on Thursday, April 9 at 1 p.m.
A chocolatier will lead us in decorating molded chocolate, creating lollypops or individual chocolate pieces and krispie chocolate bars. The fee of $30 includes a small donation to the VHA and a chance to take home a tasty chocolate treat!
