KELLY MERRITT, APRN, FNP-C

Kelly is a native of Fannin and Lamar Counties and has been a practicing nurse in the Paris, TX area for over 15 years, specializing in orthopedics, surgery, ambulatory surgery, case management, and hospice. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UT Arlington in 2010 and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing in 2020 from UT Tyler.
Kelly is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and enjoys spending time with family, gardening, the beach, and singing. She is married to David Merritt and has three beautiful daughters.

Kelly joined us at Family Medical Clinic in September of 2021 and specializes in annual wellness, chronic care management, orthopedic conditions, and IV therapy. She is accepting new patients of all ages. She is compassionate and feels strongly about healthcare in the community and would love to take care of all your healthcare needs. We are so excited to announce that we have added three new providers to our amazing staff! Kelly Merritt, FNP-BC, Kate Chadwick, PA-C, and Katie Elliott, PA-C have joined us to help take care of the wonderful patients that come to see us and are accepting NEW patients as well!! Nancy Ashmore, FNP-C is also remaining with us at FMC and continues to provide excellent care to all her patients. Each provider has backgrounds in family medicine, orthopedics, emergency/urgent care, and functional/hormonal medicine. We want to thank Brandy Preston, FNP-BC for her help in this transition and wish her well in her new endeavors!
