Important Communication Update

We absolutely love helping each and every one of you and are so thankful for the opportunity to be part of your health journey. 💚

With the tremendous growth we’ve experienced, we want to make sure no messages or important updates ever get missed. Recently, we’ve had messages come in through several different places — Facebook, personal pages, the website, phone calls, texts, and our EHR — and it can be difficult to keep everything organized.

To better serve you and respond as quickly as possible, we’re asking that all patient messages, questions, and updates be sent directly through our EHR ( email - kyias@email.kalixhealth.com from the email address we have on file for you) This helps us keep communication secure, track requests efficiently, and ensure nothing important is overlooked.

🚨 AETNA BETTER HEALTH MEMBERS — We need your voice! 🚨

Have you been turned away, placed on a months-long waitlist, or told there’s nowhere accepting new Medicaid patients for autism evaluations or behavioral care?

✨ We’re excited to be offering Leucovorin as part of our treatment options for individuals with autism. This emerging therapy has shown promise in improving communication, language, and behavior in some children—especially those with certain biomarkers. 💊🧠

At KY Integrative Autism & Family Care, we’re committed to exploring every avenue to support and empower the families we serve. We’re hopeful that this treatment may help change the path forward for some of our patients.

The theory behind leucovorin's use for autism postulates that some children have a blockage in the transport of folic acid into the brain that potentially contributes to neurological symptoms.
