Team Member Spotlight: Kiara
Patient Advocate

Kiara serves as Patient Advocate at Quality Care ER, supporting patients and families at both our Paris and Greenville locations. Born and raised in Paris, Texas, she has spent the past 10 years working in healthcare services and brings a deep passion for helping others to everything she does.

Since joining QCER in June 2024, Kiara has quickly become a familiar and friendly face for patients. She describes herself as a true people person and takes pride in being someone others can rely on, always ready to help wherever she’s needed. Her role is all about connection, support, and ensuring every patient feels cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

Kiara attended Paris Junior College and is a proud mom to her daughter, Khyli, who keeps her motivated every day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and doing a little shopping when she can.

Kiara’s ability to connect with people and create a positive experience is truly felt by our patients and teammates alike — and it makes an impact every single day. Show Kiara some love in the comments today!

Team Member Spotlight: Cobi, RN

Cobi is a Paris native who proudly returned home to serve the community she grew up in. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma and began her nursing career at OU Children’s Hospital, where she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. That experience helped shape her passion for caring for children and families during some of their most critical moments.

After spending more than 10 years in Oklahoma City, Cobi and her husband decided it was time to come back to their hometown. She joined the Quality Care ER team two years ago and has enjoyed working alongside experienced physicians and nurses who care for patients of all ages. Cobi loves the fast-paced environment of emergency care and has an extra special place in her heart for the pediatric patients who come through our doors.

Outside of work, Cobi spends time with her husband, Casey, and their four-year-old daughter. Their hearts and hands will soon be a bit fuller as they will welcome another baby girl any day now.

We’re proud to have Cobi on the QCER team and grateful for the compassion and experience she brings to the families we serve. 💙

Team Member Spotlight: Andrea Shackelford, Patient Access Representative

Andrea has been part of the Quality Care ER family since the very beginning. Her loyalty, consistency, and heart for service have helped shape the culture our patients' experiences today.

Customer service is rooted within Andrea. Before QCER, she worked locally at James Hodge in the service department and at Peoples Bank, building strong relationships and serving the community in different ways. Originally from Celina, Texas, she attended Collin College before transferring to Paris Junior College.

Andrea will celebrate four years of marriage to her husband, Corey — who many of you also know and love as a fellow member of the Quality team! Together, they enjoy discovering new places to eat and exploring wherever they can. In her downtime, Andrea loves reading and listening to audiobooks, quilting and embroidering.

We’re grateful for Andrea’s dedication, steady presence, and the warmth she brings to QCER every single day. 💙
