We are excited to spotlight our wonderful receptionist, Jane Binnion—better known around the Plaza as “Janie Bell.” ✨

Jane is the very first smiling face you see when you walk through our doors, and she sets the tone for the warm, welcoming atmosphere our community is known for. With 11 years of experience working in assisted living, Jane brings not only knowledge and professionalism to her role, but also a genuine heart for the people she serves every day.

Jane often says she doesn’t feel like she’s “coming to work” each day because she truly loves what she does. She enjoys getting to know our residents and their families, hearing their stories, and welcoming new faces into our community. Her kindness, patience, and cheerful spirit make everyone feel right at home from the moment they arrive.

Thank you, Janie Bell, for being such a special part of our community!

Today we are putting our Maintenance Director in the spotlight: our very own “Mister Fix-It”, Cecil Ottmo ✨

Cecil has been working in Senior Living since 2006. He was drawn to this field after growing up around seniors and developing a deep respect for them. Before entering senior living, Cecil worked in farming, where he learned the value of hard work and problem-solving. He genuinely enjoys being around the residents and often says that helping them is not nearly as hard as hauling hay. Residents appreciate not only his workmanship but also his kindness and willingness to help.

Margie Peters began her passion for serving seniors over six years ago as a private caregiver, where she discovered the deep fulfillment that comes from supporting older adults. In her current role, she finds great joy in learning each resident's story and creating personal connections that enrich their daily lives. Margie considers herself truly blessed to have a career that allows her to serve, uplift, and advocate for seniors every day.

Happy Monday! We are continuing our staff spotlight with the one who ensures our hearts AND our bellies stay full, our beloved chef, Winnie Tyson! ✨

Winnie's passion for cooking began at home, inspired by watching her mother and Aunt Kim prepare meals with care, patience, and heart. She transitioned from cooking for her family to serving in an assisted living community, where she found a true sense of purpose in her work. She takes pride in preparing meals that prioritize quality, comfort, and dignity. To her, food is more than nourishment—it is a way to create connection, provide comfort, and enhance daily living.

We are so blessed to have you, Winnie!
