Darkness: Darkness is not just the absence of light in the physical world as we know it, it is the absence of Light in our hearts. When there is no light in our hearts we are prone to all manner of evil, and we are able to ask God: “Am I my brother's keeper?” Therefore, our desire is to rob others of their goods, cheat, murder, take advantage of them, lie against them, spread false rumors, bear false witness, and are happy when evil befalls others. That is the kind of heart so dark, unless the Light of God, our Messiah, Lord, Jesus comes into it, we are destined for the dark abyss! But when the Lord comes into our hearts, we are able to see the junk in us for the first time, and our desires turns to seeking reconciliation with God, leading to confession. For most of us, we are able to confess with our mouths saying: “Love has come again.” The story does not end there. The Light begins to shine brighter and brighter each day as we cling to the mercy of God. It seems to me that we are in an age when reconciliation with God is of paramount importance, yet we do less of it. Let each one seek the Light of God, and His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Try What the Scripture says: - Pray for your enemies and those who despitefully use you. In the Epistle of James, it says, pray for your enemies. This is an imperative, it is a command! Why were Jesus, Paul, and James so emphatic about praying for our enemies, even those who hurt, use, and persecute us to their advantage? I do not know, but this I do know, that if you intentionally bring to mind your enemies and actually pray for them sincerely in the secret of your heart, it is an act of charity, it is cleansing, and it is easier to forgive. Remember, the Lord, Jesus on the cross saying: "Forgive them, for they know not what they do" Try it, and you will be free yourself. My friends, I have something important on my mind this morning. It is clear that life is finite, flighty, and precarious. Yet, we all live as though we have eternity on our side. No, we don't! The greatest debt we owe to one another in life is love. In this current climate of name-calling, hatred, and divisions, love has been relegated to the background as something foreign when one talks about it. If we love as our Lord, Jesus commanded us to, all the vain things that charm us most will fade into the background in the face of the life to come upon our transition from this earth. Our souls, which are our true selves come face to face with our Creator! So, whether it is politics, religion, nationalism, racism, nepotism, classism, socialism, capitalism, communism, skeptism or any other "isms" of our day that hinder us from paying our debt of love to our neighbors, remember, we can break that yoke, and obey Jesus when He commands us to love our neighbors and our enemies as ourselves. 1.That Lamar County Indigent Health Program is free to all Lamar County Resident who qualify? Call 903-737-2418 to inquire. If you qualify they will pay for up 3 medications a month for you. Choose Agape Care Pharmacy as one of two pharmacies that participates in the program.

2.That if you are a resident of Lamar County and are being discharged from the Paris Regional Medical Center, they will pay for your medications at Agape Care Pharmacy if you can't pay for your discharge medication. Just ask the nurse on your floor.
