Good Movement Studio is a beautiful Pilates, Physical Therapy and, Fitness Studio, located in the Old Colby School at the base of Canyons Ski Resort. We offer dynamic group reformer and fitness classes and high quality, one on one private sessions. We believe that Movement is for EVERYONE – no matter your age, gender or level of ability our mission is to help you achieve your fitness goals. 🎉 Spotlight time! Meet Eric O'Connor — Good Movement Studio's best kept secret (mostly because he's been dodging our camera since 2023).
Getting a photo of Eric for our website was, genuinely, like trying to get Chandler Bing to smile for an engagement photo. But we persevered. He's on the website. It's a historic day. 📸
Eric is a Functional Fitness Trainer with 20 years of experience helping people of ALL ability levels get stronger, move better, and feel more confident. Beginner? He's got you. Seasoned athlete hitting a wall? He'll help you blow right past it.

A few fun facts about this guy 👇

🏆 CrossFit Education's Content Developer & Seminar Flowmaster — 500+ seminars led worldwide. He's kind of a big deal.
📅 Just about 900 appointments at Good Movement since February 2023. At this point, he's basically part of the building. He does have another job outside of GMS

And the proof is in the people he trains. Take Joan — one of his regulars — who at over 80 years old trains privately with Eric, shows up to strength classes twice a week, gained 4 POUNDS OF MUSCLE this past year (her doctors were shook 🙌), and helped name one of his classes "Bi***es with Barbells." When your clients are naming your classes, you're doing something right.

Since joining the Good Movement Studio family in July 2024, Kimber has brought so much energy and heart to everything she does. Whether you catch her on Saturday mornings or at her Tuesday/Thursday 5pm class — which has quickly become one of our most popular — you know exactly what we mean. There's something about her that just makes you want to show up and give it your all.

And if that wasn't impressive enough, when Kimber isn't here inspiring all of us, she's out there caring for people as a nurse. Safe to say, showing up for others is just who she is.

Happy International Women’s Day to the incredible women who make up the Good Movement Community! 💪🎉

From the ones who show up before coffee has kicked in, to the ones who laugh through the hard exercises (we see you), to the ones who quietly crush every single class — you inspire us every day.

Today has some serious roots worth celebrating. International Women’s Day was first observed on March 19, 1911, sparked by a labor movement in 1908 when women garment workers took to the streets of New York demanding better pay, shorter hours, and the right to vote. The United Nations officially designated March 8th as International Women’s Day in 1975 — and the world has been celebrating ever since. 🌍

Here at Good Movement Studio, we see the strength of women every single day — in every class, every rep, and every moment of showing up for yourselves.

Here’s to strong women. May we know them, may we be them, and may we see them on the reformer next to us. 🥰

Sara Klein walked into Good Movement Studio for the first time on August 10, 2017.

Yesterday she showed up for class number 1️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. 🤯

5-7 days a week. Pilates. Strength Training. Repeat. For SEVEN years.

Oh, and to mark the occasion? She threw 100 lbs on her back and squatted it like it was nothing. 🏋️‍♀️ Because of course she did.

Our Intro to Reformer class runs every Wednesday at 5:30 PM and is designed specifically for beginners who want to learn the equipment, understand proper form, and build confidence in a welcoming, no-pressure environment.
