EZ Lift Rescue Systems The EZ LIFT solution is a patient immobilization system that incorporates extendable handles that retract into a traditional rigid backboard when not in use.

EZ LIFT Rescue Systems designs, manufactures, sells, and services patient immobilization and lift systems that incorporate a unique, patented, lift and transport systems designed to minimize lift impacts to the back. The EZ LIFT Rescue System is a re-invention of the traditional backboard that EMS Rescuers have used to immobilize patients for transport for more than 50 years. These handles, when extended, allow the FIRE / EMS responder personnel to lift from a safe position just below the knees which dramatically reduces knee stress and torque on the lower back, where most injuries occur, by raising the lift from the danger zone below the knees.
