In recognition of American Heart Month, National Wear Red Day and the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement which aims to raise awareness that cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer of women, my Silver Foxes, Grey Wolves Fitness Class participants came all decked out in their red to show their support.

Not only did they look good, they trained hard and gave all-out effort!

Well, the first "Thrive On Tuesdays" health & wellness seminar of the year was a fantastic success! January's topic: "10 Simple Strategies to Make 2026 Your Healthiest Year Ever!"

Timely, research-based information was provided. Insightful comments were shared. Thought-provoking questions were asked and answered. Relevant feedback was offered.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, I had the pleasure of joining Mr. Art Sims, Guest House Community Outreach Manager and Mrs. Melanie Hall, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at the television studios of CAN TV - Channel 21. At that time, we recorded a segment in recognition of Self-Awareness Month that focused on mental health. Of course, my contribution highlighted the positive impact fitness has on mental well-being.
