What's a "cookie walk" you ask? 🤔 It's like a magical wonderland of baked goods! At our Christmas Sweets & Treats event on Dec. 13th, you literally walk around tables filled with thousands of cookies, bars, and candies, choosing your favorites to fill a box. 🌟 TOMORROW: Join Us for the Heartland Lakes Community Tree Lighting & Yuletide Sampler! 🌟

This Friday, November 28th, on Main Street in Downtown Park Rapids, our community comes together for a truly special evening.

The festivities begin at 5:00 PM with our annual Yuletide Sampler! Stroll through participating downtown businesses and enjoy complimentary cookies, warm hot chocolate, and festive treats – a wonderful way to kick off your holiday shopping and support local merchants.

At 6:00 PM, we gather for the Heartland Lakes Tree Lighting. This year, the ceremony takes on extra meaning as we honor the memory of Gary Wolff during CHI St. Joseph's Health Hospice Care's Light of Hope ceremony. 🎁 Your Friday Night Just Got Sweeter! 🎁

Planning on attending the Tree Lighting this Friday? Make sure to arrive early for the Yuletide Sampler from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM!

This season of giving, CHI St. Joseph's Health Hospice Care is overflowing with gratitude! Our beautiful 2025 Heartland Lakes Community Christmas tree is ready to shine thanks to the incredible generosity of our community partners who donate their time to brighten Main Street and help Light Up A Life for Hospice Care.

Kelly Kimball and his logging crew cut and set-up the 2025 Heartland Lakes Community Christmas Tree. The beautiful pine was donated by Charlie's Boat & Marine LLC. Itasca-Mantrap Electric Cooperative and Minnesota Power an ALLETE Company teamed up to string the lights and decorate the tree using their equipment. Park Rapids Downtown and Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce help to coordinate this event.

Join us this Friday, November 28th at 6pm for the tree lighting ceremony! The Yuletide sampler begins at 5pm. We hope to see you there!
