🌟 Patient Spotlight: Meet Our Wellness Warrior! 🌟

There is nothing we love more than seeing a child reclaim their spark. Today, we’re shouting out a very special member of our practice family who has had quite the journey!

When he first joined us, he was navigating the “perfect storm” of asthma, allergies, and big emotional hurdles. Between struggling to catch his breath and struggling to regulate his nervous system, his body was stuck in “fight or flight” mode.

Since starting care, his progress has been nothing short of amazing. His body is better equipped to handle seasonal shifts and stressors. We’ve seen incredible shifts in his emotional regulation and resilience. Coming to the office has officially become the favorite part of his week! (And honestly? Seeing his smile is the highlight of ours, too!)

When we clear the interference in the nervous system, the body can finally do what it was designed to do: heal, adapt, and thrive. 🌿

Max’s mom brought him to SLC in hopes of regulating emotions and symptoms related to his ADHD diagnosis in a drug-free approach 💊. After starting his chiropractic care plan, she noticed that his symptoms improved drastically, his digestion was better, and he found relief from stiff neck and shoulders.

“When Oliver was born, he had a slight head tilt to the right (torticollis). It eventually led to an asymmetrical head shape, and he had to wear a helmet for nearly 3 months. We started chiropractic care, and the change was almost immediate. He gained the neck rotation he needed, which gave him the confidence to crawl, walk, and finally play with both arms!”

What Oliver’s mom saw as “confidence” was actually his Vagus Nerve stepping up to the plate! ⚾ When we adjust Oliver’s upper neck, we removed the interference (subluxation) that kept him stuck in a ‘tight’ physical pattern. This allowed his Vagus Nerve, the body’s ‘Command Center’ for calming down and digesting, to finally do its job.

Since starting care, Oliver has been so regular. “Knowing his gut is healthy, he has no food allergies, and his immune system is rock solid makes life so much easier. It is so worth putting your kids’ health first. When your child isn’t struggling, you can actually focus on enjoying the little moments of their childhood.
