Dry indoor heating is one of winter’s biggest skin saboteurs.

When humidity drops, the air pulls moisture wherever it can, including from your skin. That loss weakens your barrier, increases transepidermal water loss, and leaves you with tightness, flaking, dullness, and exaggerated fine lines.

The solution isn’t just “more moisturizer.”

Our wonderful injector MJ will be heading out on maternity leave beginning March 1, as she prepares to welcome her little one. We are so excited for her and her growing family, and feel incredibly lucky to celebrate this moment with her.

Big steps forward at Uptown ✨

Dr. Katie and Samantha recently returned from sunny Tampa, Florida, where they completed advanced training in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, marking an exciting milestone as we prepare to expand our offerings.

We’re also thrilled to officially announce Sam’s new role as Office Manager & Clinical Coordinator, where she’ll play a key part in supporting this program and ensuring a thoughtful, personalized experience for our patients.

Hormone replacement therapy is often explored by both women and men as a way to support balance, energy, and overall well-being during different stages of life. While we’re not offering HRT just yet, this training is an important step toward bringing carefully considered options to the Uptown community.

An HRT open house at Uptown is coming soon and we can’t wait to share more 🤍
