Advocate Family Support Program - Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Brain Tumor Our FB page is centered around connecting our patients and families to meet each other, share with each other and build a network. Come join us!

At our Midwest Children’s Brain Tumor Center we’re dedicated to improving the future of children with brain tumors. This devastating disease is the leading cause of death among children with cancer. Treatments and side effects can impact quality of life for the patient and affect the entire family. That’s why our Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center has assembled a premiere team of brain tumor experts who care about kids and are trained in the most advanced medical procedures using the latest technology—to provide our young patients with the best care available. Our family support program supports brain tumor patients and their families as well as our oncology patients and their families.

Great opportunity to give back and have fun while earning volunteer hours!!!

I help to organize a picnic to support children with cancer, a blood disorder or a brain tumor and we are in need of volunteers. The picnic will be on 8/7/2022, 12-4 in Morton Grove.

Please send me a private message if you know someone or have a connection that might want to volunteer.

Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center requests your Holiday Donation!

Each year the Midwest Children’s Brain Tumor and Pediatric Oncology/Hematology departments holds a Holiday Party for patients and their families who are going through treatment and follow up procedures. The goal is to bring a little holiday cheer into their difficult year and allow them to dance a little, take photos with Santa and their families, join the fun with arts and crafts and enjoy a festive and fashionable afternoon out. The event includes Santa handing out gifts to each patient and their siblings – these are all generously donated through organizations and community members and friends. This generosity goes a long way in helping bring joy and comfort to our patients. It allows kids to continue to express themselves through play, reach therapeutic goals and milestones, celebrate accomplishments, and so much more in the medical setting. We couldn’t do it without you!

If you would like to support this wonderful activity please see the following options:

Please note: To keep you, our patients, and our team members safe,
