I have witnessed this in my office many many times, and it’s still the most rewarding part of my job! It also usually leads to a poopy diaper within minutes…😬…but you learn to perceive it as the smell of success! 😁

Brains benefit from exercises too!

A surprisingly simple daily habit can rewire your brain: brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand. Neuroscientists have found that switching hands activates the opposite hemisphere of the brain, improving coordination, attention, and neuroplasticity.
When you use your non-dominant hand, your brain forms new neural connections to handle the unfamiliar motion. This mental challenge strengthens pathways between the left and right hemispheres, enhancing memory, creativity, and emotional control. Psychologists call this “cross-hemispheric activation” — a small but powerful way to keep the brain agile.
Studies show that just five minutes a day of such exercises can improve reaction time and problem-solving ability. It also helps delay cognitive decline and may reduce the risk of diseases like Alzheimer’s by stimulating underused regions of the brain.
Beyond teeth brushing, experts suggest performing other everyday tasks — like eating, writing, or opening doors — with your opposite hand. These “neurobics,” or brain exercises, train your mind the way physical workouts train your body.
So next time you brush, swap hands — and remember, this tiny change could be strengthening your mind for life.

Motivation comes and goes.

Discipline stays.

That’s why Jack LaLanne trained daily — long after the cameras were gone.

The best habits are quiet ones.

For decades, eggs were framed as the villain—despite being one of the most complete, nutrient-dense foods humans have ever eaten. The fear stuck, the habits changed, and health didn’t improve. History has a funny way of exposing bad advice once enough time passes. Maybe the problem was never eggs… maybe it was the campaign against real food.

Jack LaLanne Wisdom of the Day

You don’t get old because of your age.
You get old because you stop using your body.

Every muscle you move is a message to your future self that says, “I’m not done yet.”
Strength is independence.
Movement is freedom.
And consistency is the real fountain of youth.

Do something today that your body will thank you for tomorrow.
Push. Pull. Walk. Stretch. Breathe.
Then do it again tomorrow.

Your body was built to move—so let it.
