As we enter December, it’s a great time to refocus on our health and build momentum before the new year. The Indian Health Service (IHS) reports that regular physical activity and routine screenings can significantly improve long-term health for American Indian and Alaska Native communities (Source: IHS – Division of Diabetes Treatment & Prevention, ihs.gov/diabetes).
Throughout December, participants are encouraged to stop by the SDP to:
• Check blood glucose or blood pressure
• Schedule a session with our personal trainers
• Join classes that build movement, confidence, and strength
Let’s close out the year with purpose, stay active, and support one another in creating healthier habits for 2025.
