Singing with your child isn’t just for fun, it’s a powerful tool for language development. Research shows that when we sing or use sing‑song speech with our babies and toddlers, we’re giving them extra support in learning new words and building strong language foundations.

🧠 Scientists at University of Cambridge found that rhythmic information like the beat and stress patterns in songs and nursery rhymes helps infants recognize word boundaries long before they can reliably process individual speech sounds. (cam.ac.uk)

So when you sing with your little one during bathtime, in the car, or at bedtime, you’re doing more than making memories. You’re helping them map words to meaning, feel the rhythm of language, and build their vocabulary in the most fun way.
