We are honored to share that Oakhill Day School has been named the 𝐊𝐒𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 π’πœπ‘π¨π¨π₯ 𝐒𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐒𝐭𝐲!

At Oakhill, kindness is more than a moment, it is the Oakhill way. From celebrating acts of compassion through Panther Party shoutouts, Lifeskill tokens, and simple words of encouragement, to our Student Wellness team leading kindness challenges and spirit days, our community actively looks for ways to lift each other up. This year’s theme, Seasons of Oakhill, reminds us that every day is a season for kindness.

Kindness at Oakhill also extends far beyond our campus. Our students are deeply involved in serving the Kansas City community through volunteer work, donation drives, and service projects that make a real difference.

We are also proud to celebrate one of our own students. Oakhill 8th grader Evie was named the winner of the Synergy Services 𝐊𝐒𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐬 π‚π’ππ’πšπ§ π„π¬π¬πšπ² π‚π¨π§ππžπ¬π. In her essay, Evie highlighted the incredible work of Miss Kim from the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter, recognizing the compassion she shows every day while caring for both people and cats at the shelter. Evie’s thoughtful writing and recognition of kindness in our community perfectly reflect the values we strive to live out at Oakhill.

Congratulations to Evie, and thank you to our students, faculty, staff, and families who make kindness part of Oakhill every single day.

What an incredible night at Art Soup! 🎨🍲 Thanks to your generosity, creativity, and love for our mission, we raised over $9,000 to support programs at our Youth Resiliency Center like Art and Music Therapy.

A special thank you to our soup sponsors and event sponsors! Your partnership made this evening possible, and we are so grateful for your commitment to our mission.

To everyone who attended, donated, created, volunteered, and cheered us on, thank you for turning art into action and soup into support. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up in such a meaningful way. πŸ’™
