Pleasant Lake Villa is Hiring for a Business Office Assistant.
The Business Office Assistant is responsible for the completion of all business office tasks, including but not limited to, accounts payable, private pay billing, collections, cash posting, Medicaid application processing, and general administration duties with the preferred knowledge or experience to assist with tasks including assists with Claims, Research, Insurance review, Resident Trust, Customer Service, Implement procedures for timely and appropriate record keeping, billing, data management, Point Click Care as well as other Business Office assistance as needed to assure the financial success of the facility.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
3 years medical billing in a Long Term Care or Hospice facility preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
2- 5 years of Medicaid and/or compliance experience preferred; social services and admissions are a plus.
Strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of all relevant Medicaid regulations, contractual requirements, industry standards and best practices
Computer skills at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Must possess knowledge of and demonstrated skill with the pertinent billing software.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient, employee and company proprietary information.
Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels.
