🌊 SeaBreeze Health DPC: Your Questions Answered!
I’m often asked about Direct Primary Care (DPC)—what it is, how it works, and how it can benefit YOU. Here are some of the top questions I get about my upcoming practice, SeaBreeze Health DPC:
💬 What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
👉 It’s a membership-based model where you pay a low monthly fee for direct access to your own doctor—with no insurance middlemen. It’s healthcare that’s personal, affordable, and accessible.
💬 Is DPC insurance?
👉 No—it’s not insurance. You’ll still want insurance for things like hospitalizations or specialist care, but your everyday healthcare, wellness, and urgent needs can be managed through your DPC membership.
💬 What’s included in the membership?
👉 Unlimited office visits, virtual visits (text, phone, video), longer appointment times, annual physicals, basic in-office procedures, and deeply discounted labs & medications.
💬 How much will it cost?
👉 The monthly fee will likely average around $90 per month, though this is not yet finalized and may adjust slightly based on the cost of running the clinic. I promise to always maintain full transparency when it comes to pricing and care.
💬 Do I still need health insurance?
👉 Yes, I recommend you keep some form of insurance for emergencies, but DPC can significantly lower your overall healthcare costs by reducing reliance on insurance for routine care.
💬 Why should I choose SeaBreeze Health DPC?
👉 You’ll have one-on-one care from me, your physician, with a focus on lifestyle changes, prevention, and wellness—and medications when needed. No rushed visits. No surprise bills. Just care that puts you first.
