Dr. Jasmin is our board certified psychiatrist who has always had the belief in the mind, body and soul connection. In addition she feels it is important to look at every person as a whole to get to the root of the problem as opposed to separate body parts that need to be addressed with a "band aid" or medication which is why she went into the osteopathic medical field. In the realm of psychiatry she believes that psychiatric medication can be used as an option to bring stability into your life but it is not the only choice and we can utilize other treatments to help improve your quality of life. If you require medication Dr. Jasmin likes to prescribe a minimum amount that will help you function but also recommends combining medication with extra tools like psychotherapy, mindfulness/meditation, yoga, diet, and exercise to naturally improve your life.
