Client spotlight for this beast of a woman, Laura. Laura and I have been together for over a year now. She’s 58 years old, but you wouldn’t even believe that. She’s in better shape than people half her age. Why? Because I give her direction and she doesn’t complain, not about the eating nor the workouts. She just puts her head down, focuses, and trusts the process. We don’t believe in age as a limitation.

I haven’t been using my training page as much as I should, so I’m going to make it a goal to bring you more content on here to help you on your fitness journey!

With that being said, here is a great super set of two of my favorite shoulder exercises and some tips.

Exercises-
Dumbbell front raise(deficit variation)
Rear delt flies(take note of my grip and the way the dumbbells face to maximize rear delt stimulation)
3 sets 8-15 reps each.
Make sure to superset

For both exercises, I prefer a false grip. The way your thumb is positioned will allow your shoulder to work harder than if your thumb was wrapped around. Also, the way I hold the dumbbells when doing flies will prioritize rear delt stimulation. When you hold the dumbbells the way you would if doing a chest fly and do this exercise you will target your back a bit more than your delt, but if you’re aiming to hit your rear delts optimally you will want to hold them the way I did in this video!

I'm as passionate about training myself as I am about training my clients ! 455 lbs for 2 reps weighing about 175 lbs. Believe in yourself and you'll be shocked at the things you can accomplish !

Mark used to be intimidated by the squat rack. We had a nice leg day today and we took the training wheels off slightly and he managed to do it on his own ! We have a few things to work on, but the first step was getting that confidence to step on that rack. We are working diligently to get everything on point. Slow and steady wins the race ! Fitness is a marathon, not a sprint ! Trust the process and work hard !

Ruby Green and I have been working together for a while now. We've been working hard on our squats and we got just about everything on point, we're currently working more on depth, but she is a warrior , let me tell you ! Every time I work with this woman, she demonstrates time and time again that age is not a limiting factor !
