💛 Earlier this month, our Lawrenceville team joined together for Su***de Prevention Awareness.

Staff and students participated in meaningful activities throughout the day — from morning announcements and yellow ribbons for staff, to resource tables at lunch and “messages of hope” created by students.

Behavior is the symptom—mental health is the solution. ERI often leads to classroom disruptions and teacher burnout. But with the right strategies—like mindfulness exercises, de-escalation techniques, and staff PD—we can keep students on track and in the least restrictive environment.

Last week, PS 24 in Jersey City wrapped up with a special event for students in grades K–4 — a day filled with creativity, relaxation, and wellness! 💚

Our Thrive clinician, Caroline, supported the event by helping organize materials and guiding students through a variety of calming and hands-on activities, including:
✨ Making slime
🌸 Potting flowers
🎲 Playing board games
🧖‍♀️ Enjoying face masks
🧼 Using sugar hand scrubs

To keep their energy up and spirits high, students also enjoyed a selection of healthy snacks!
