Aces conducts independent child study team evaluations in NJ. We assist parents, school districts, law firms, and advocates with initial evaluations, second opinion evaluations, re-evaluations, and specialized evaluations for deaf or hard hearing individuals. Our reports assist with the determination and need for special education or 504 plan services at pre-school, elementary, middle, high school and college levels. Our experienced team members are certified by the state to conduct testing to determine academic skills, cognitive ability and social, emotional, behavioral functional levels. We can also provide speech and language evaluations and specialized evaluations for deaf and hard of hearing individuals. As the Murphy Administration continues working to vaccinate New Jersey against COVID-19, NJ Human Services’ Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has developed a COVID-19 pre-vaccination communication card checklist for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The card can be used as a tool to help communicate vital information before receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. The pre-vaccination checklist is available in both English and Spanish. Individuals can still request communication access accommodations. PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR NETWORKS.

ACES provides a caring approach to mental health and substance abuse services. We offer outpatient mental health/substance abuse services that include individual, group and family therapy. Assessments for mental health and substance abuse evaluations including urine drug screens.
