Immediate Care Children’s Psychiatric Center quickly addresses the needs of children and families experiencing a mental health crisis. Every family is considered a vital part of the treatment team, while weekly team meetings and ongoing staff training provide for the development and implementation of innovative approaches to treatment. In an effort to improve treatment outcomes, the development of collaborative relationships with all providers and school systems is paramount and is accomplished through ongoing communication throughout the child’s admission. Each child receives both psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment specifically designed for his or her mental and/or behavioral health needs. All treatment comes from a board-certified child psychiatrist and licensed clinician.
