During the employee holiday party, a jolly special guest dressed in red surprised the residents. Yes, you guessed it! Santa made a guest appearance. While the staff was being treated to a delicious meal and great prizes, the residents were sharing their Christmas wish lists as Santa passed out Christmas gift bags and stockings. Both the residents as well as the staff enjoyed the day.

Oh, what a night! The family holiday party at The Reserve at Pasadena proved to be an epic event. It was nice to see the community come together to enjoy not just the food and entertainment (Tony Mac) but also one another. It was a true holiday family gathering. Thank you to the families who took time to actively participate in the evening. Thank you to the staff who worked diligently to ensure that the residents were looking their best. The holiday season is the perfect time to maximize extending a helping hand. This Thanksgiving, The Reserve at Pasadena donated three large Thanksgiving baskets which included a turkey. Thank you to our families, friends and vendors who assisted us in this project. The recipients of the baskets were Shon, Martha, and Yesenia. There are many more giveaways to come.

Yes, she turned 102 years old today! Ms. Margaret was serenaded by Tony Mac of 'A List Entertainers' at her 102nd birthday party. Family and friends surrounded her with lots of love. There was great food, great entertainment, and great dancing. Several residents showed off their signature moves. It was a spectacular celebration for all who attended.

Looking good at 104 years old! On his 104th birthday, Mr. Fernando was showered with love and affection by his family, friends, and the residents. He didn't have just one party, but he had two parties. At The Reserve, his decor was shades of blue with a bulletin board where everyone wrote heartfelt messages to him. The mixologist even created a drink in his honor, 'The Fernando'. It was a very jovial occasion with everyone singing happy birthday in Spanish as well as English. Needless to say, Mr. Fernando thoroughly enjoyed himself.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month! The residents supported the cause by participating in the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. As they strolled around the building decked in their pink, staff, friends, and family cheered them on. The ambience was festive to say the least.
