EFT with Black Clients: Centering Culture, Context, and Attachment

This training supports clinicians in integrating attachment-based work with deeper awareness of racialized stress, systemic context, and cultural attunement. Together, we’ll explore negative interaction cycles, culturally responsive interventions, and ways to strengthen healing and connection for Black individuals, couples, and families.

We are overjoyed to celebrate on becoming a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT)!

Danielle’s journey has been one of dedication, curiosity, and deep heart. She participated in group supervision, sought feedback from multiple EFT supervisors, and continually leaned into the model with courage and integrity.

In her Pasadena-based practice at Sandoval Therapy, Danielle integrates EFT, EMDR, and parts work, specializing in complex and attachment trauma. This live Zoom workshop will explore how subtle ADHD traits can show up in couples therapy—and how these often-missed behaviors may drive disconnection in the cycle.
