This past year at Hoving Home hasn’t just been a program you completed, it’s been a journey of surrender, healing, and transformation. Through every challenge, you chose to press forward, and God has been so faithful to meet you every step of the way.

Today we celebrate not just your completion, but the woman you’ve become, strong, rooted, and full of purpose. And the best part? This is only the beginning. As you step into the Leadership Academy, it’s clear that God is calling you higher, to lead, to pour out, and to be a light for others walking the path you’ve already overcome.

New Jersey friends! 👋 We have an exciting new way for you to leave your donations at the Hoving Home! 📦🏡❤️

Thanks to the hard work of a volunteer 👍 and our Maintenance team 🛠️, a wooden donation box has been installed 📦😊.

We are deeply grateful 🙏 for the items donated to our center daily ❤️ and are committed to managing each donation carefully.

We also have included a clipboard in the Lodge or outside area near the box, where you can leave your information so we can make sure to send you a thank you note along with your tax deductible receipt!

A moment worth capturing.

There is something powerful about seeing a woman sitting in the Word of God, taking time to grow, heal, and rebuild her life.

Every woman who walks through our doors has a story, and watching God restore their lives is something we never get tired of seeing.

Transformation happens when a heart is willing and when Jesus is at the center of it all.

Grateful to witness the work God is doing in the lives of the women in this home every single day.

Another Shattered Life Rebuilt

“On this day in 2014 I walked through the doors of The Walter Hoving Home broken scared looking for a way out of endless abuse and addictions that took over my life. No voice but the tension of stress and fear coursing through my body. There had to be a way and his name is Jesus. I have never looked back keep moving forward. My faith tested under fire of cancer and I held fast and lived in God's Word. Hard to believe 12 years now. Not any addictions to smother me any more. All with the knowledge I am one decision one day away from falling back. I thank God for another day, time spent with loved ones and restoration with three of my children. God is good all the time. Thankful for lessons learned and the ability to help others as God see fit. Everyday a blessing. When all else fails I will stand firm.” 😊❤️👌

Today we had the joy of celebrating our amazing volunteers at the North Carolina Crisis Center. We are so grateful for the time, love, and encouragement they pour into the lives of the women we serve. They truly help plant seeds of hope and transformation every single day.

We were also so blessed to hear the powerful testimony of one of our program completers, Sarah Mackay. Her story is a beautiful reminder of the life-changing work God is doing.

It’s always a special time as friends, families, and neighbors gather together to support the women rebuilding their lives at Hoving Home.
