In partnership with Hope Now, we’re creating space for joy, connection, and support for our neighbors impacted by the Eaton Fire. Meet us on the dance floor this Friday! ✨ Staff Spotlight: Debbie Martinez, Family Support Specialist (HFA)

Debbie loves working at Foothill Family because it’s truly rewarding. She’s passionate about supporting families who need our services and collaborating with community partners to provide essential items like diapers, wipes, books, and clothing.

Her advice for new staff: dive in, attend trainings and outreach events, and take advantage of all the tools Foothill Family offers for growth.

Debbie stays motivated by knowing she’s making a real impact with every family she meets. Outside of work, she volunteers at her local church and is dedicated to serving and advocating for others in her community.

Day 2/2 of our Dance Workshops at Hodge Elementary was so exciting! 💃🏽✨

We highlighted the power of dance and its connection to mental wellness, how movement can support confidence, connection, and emotional well-being. One of the best parts was teaching parents and children together, which ties directly back to Foothill Family’s mission of strengthening families and building healthy communities.

✨ What an incredible experience at Hodge Elementary! ✨

Foothill Family was honored to provide dance workshops that uplifted, inspired, and energized over 200 students. Seeing students move, express themselves, and build confidence through dance was truly powerful and reminded us how meaningful creative outlets can be for young people.

We are deeply grateful to Pasadena Showcase House of the Arts for their generous grant support, which makes it possible for us to bring these impactful dance workshops to our school communities. Because of this partnership, we’re able to continue creating joyful, healing, and empowering experiences for students.
Thank you to the students, staff, and everyone who helped make these workshops such a success! 💚🩰
