Subtle contouring can make a powerful difference. ✨

This face and neck liposuction procedure focused on reducing excess fat beneath the chin and along the jawline to create a more defined, sculpted profile.

By carefully refining these areas, the lower face and neck appear slimmer, with improved jawline definition and a smoother chin-to-neck transition.

Shaping the nose requires precision, balance, and a deep understanding of facial harmony. ✨

For this patient, rhinoplasty focused on smoothing the dorsal hump and refining the overall profile to create a softer, more balanced silhouette. By carefully reshaping the nasal structure, the result feels natural, proportionate, and seamlessly aligned with their features.

Rhinoplasty can address concerns such as a prominent hump, asymmetry, or tip refinement, all while preserving (or improving) function for a natural-looking outcome.

Every result is thoughtfully customized to complement your features and elevate your confidence.

Facial paralysis can affect more than appearance, it can impact how someone smiles, expresses emotion, and communicates with others. The temporalis smile lift is a procedure designed to help restore movement and improve smile symmetry for patients experiencing facial weakness or paralysis.

This technique uses the temporalis muscle to help recreate a more natural smile. It can be an option for individuals with complete facial paralysis who can no longer smile, patients with partial facial weakness, or those with significant smile asymmetry seeking better facial balance.

Watch as I explain how the temporalis smile lift works and which patients may be candidates for this specialized procedure. If you’re exploring treatment options for facial paralysis or smile asymmetry, you can learn more or schedule a consultation at the link below. ✨

Facial paralysis can impact much more than facial movement. It can affect expression, communication, and overall quality of life. My goal is to help patients better understand the conditions that may lead to facial paralysis and the treatment options available to restore balance and function.

Because facial paralysis can arise from a variety of causes, from nerve injury and viral conditions to congenital differences and tumors, evaluation requires a thoughtful and individualized approach. Understanding the underlying cause is an important first step in developing a treatment plan tailored to each patient.

Refining the nose after a previous procedure requires a thoughtful, highly specialized approach.

For this patient, revision rhinoplasty focused on correcting concerns left from a prior surgery while restoring balance and natural harmony to the nose. Through careful reshaping and attention to both structure and function, the goal was to create a result that feels more proportionate and aligned with the patient’s facial features.

Revision rhinoplasty can address asymmetry, contour irregularities, and functional concerns, helping patients move forward with renewed confidence.

“I underwent temporalis lengthening myoplasty for facial paralysis with Dr. Panossian, and I truly believe more patients should know about the exceptional work he is doing in this area.

Before ultimately finding Dr. Panossian, I spent over a year consulting with multiple surgeons and major institutions, and although many centers are excellent overall, very few truly concentrate on advanced facial reanimation or demonstrate the same degree of mastery in this specialized field. For anyone living with facial paralysis, this difference truly matters, as this is not a standard reconstructive surgery, and restoring natural facial movement requires a very high level of judgment and experience.

And what truly set him apart was that while other specialists expressed hesitation or uncertainty regarding potential outcomes, Dr. Panossian provided a direct, thoughtful evaluation and a clear plan moving forward. That kind of reassurance means everything when you’re navigating the physical and emotional challenges of facial paralysis, especially when the impact can be life-changing.

Although I am only a few weeks post-surgery and still early in recovery, I already know I made the best decision. Even at this early stage, the improvement in facial movement and symmetry has made a noticeable difference.

If you are unsure where to turn after facial paralysis, in my experience Dr. Panossian truly stands apart. Thank you so much, Dr. Panossian and wonderful team — words cannot express my gratitude for your remarkable work and care!” - Patient Testimonial

Neurofibromatosis can affect more than physical health; it can impact comfort, mobility, function, and confidence. My goal is to help patients better understand what this condition involves, what treatment options exist, and how care can be tailored to improve quality of life with clarity and compassion.

Because NF-related tumors may affect nerves throughout the body, treatment requires a thoughtful and individualized approach. That’s why every surgical plan is developed with precision, with the goal of safely removing tumors while preserving nerve function whenever possible.

Facial paralysis following tumor removal requires a comprehensive and time-sensitive approach.

In this case, a staged nerve transfer procedure was performed approximately 8 months after a total parotidectomy left this 78-year-old professional jazz trumpet player with complete paralysis on the right side of his face.

A “babysitter” procedure was used to transfer the nerve to the masseter muscle to the facial nerve, while a long nerve graft from the leg was simultaneously utilized to help restore critical facial functions such as eye closure and mouth movement.

At 3 years post-procedure, improvements in facial movement, mouth function, and eye closure are evident. While mild weakness remains, he has been able to return to playing the trumpet and performing in front of an audience. Attention to timing and surgical precision is what allows functional outcomes like this to be possible.
