We offer chiropractic services by the center’s owner, Arbi Derian, D.C., who is also a certified personal trainer and Exercise Physiologist. Arbi Derian's chiropractic office is located at 1353-1355 Altadena Dr in Pasadena next door to the Rehab and Fitness Center. Anyone who wants a safe, low-key environment in which to exercise is welcome to join our Fitness Center. The equipment features top brand names: Life Fitness for all the aerobic machines and Free Motion for the benches and squat racks. Free Motion is a Denver-based company that designs ergonomic equipment – made as much to assist the person spotting as the person doing the exercise. Ivanko wheel-design barbells, the latest in weight technology, ensure safe and easy transfer between racks and bars. Our fitness trainers offer a range of expertise and personal experiences to serve a diverse client base. But they all share one common philosophy, which is that the key to a successful training program is helping you to meet your goals without injury. Our therapeutic massage therapy also serves as a perfect complement to chiropractic treatment. When muscle health has been optimized, there is a lesser propensity for muscles to spasm or shorten, which can pull a chiropractic adjustment out of its corrective form. If you are a patient who has been given an exercise prescription, Arbi will assign you to the trainer who best suits your needs. The trainer will help you follow the prescription and will report back to Arbi on your progress.

Sometimes it's a matter of comparing apples to apples, or at least Granny Smith apples to Golden Delicious apples.
