The holidays are right around the corner. Holidays can notoriously be stressful for a variety of reasons. Holidays can trigger loss, worry, frustration and stress. Day 29: I went to a funeral today. It was a beautiful and simple celebration of a life well lived. It reminded me that loss is part of loving. I am thankful that I have people in my life that I have loved…. Even though losing them sucks.

Day 26: Day 26 brought gratefulness for my home and my bed. I was exhausted. I struggle with allowing myself to relax because I’m sensitive to feeling “lazy”. But, after I took care of my parents’ medication, this girl was going nowhere. I put my phone away, snuggled up with my dog and watched TV all afternoon.

Day 23: Today I am incredibly thankful for my niece. She has always been my “Jelly Bean”. I am so proud of her. Becca is in her second year of law school. Not only is she smart, but she has the sweetest and most loving heart around. I remember the day I met her. I fell in love with her immediately. Here she is pictured with Ashley. ❤️
