Residents, their family, staff and friends filled up the Laemmle Glendale theater last night and enjoyed a showing of Familiar Touch, the highly acclaimed movie that was filmed at our community. It was an exciting and very special night for Villa Gardens!

Familiar Touch celebrates caregivers and their indispensable role in supporting senior living residents. Magali Galvez (pictured on the right), has been a caregiver at Villa Gardens for close to 20 years. She served as a consultant to the film, teaching the actors about her work as a caregiver and appearing herself in the final scene of the film.
