It is where residents gather for meals, conversations and group therapy — a vital space where they can explore their feelings and feel connected to others.
The dining room of the Bishop Gooden Home in Pasadena — now the Susan E. Riley Foundation Dining Room — occupies a central place in our flagship facility and our hearts.
Gooden Center clients and alumni are a shining example of what can be accomplished when those suffering from substance use and mental health disorders find themselves in a supportive community. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1962, we residential inpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, outpatient care and transitional housing, and are in network with most HMO, EPO and PPO insurance programs.
One of the things that makes us unique is our strong ties to the community and our community partners, organizations like the Susan E. Riley Foundation. Without their support, The Gooden Center would be nowhere near the organization it is today.
Call us today at 626-356-0078 if you or a loved one is struggling with substance use or mental health disorders.
