Tranquility Woods is an Expert, Dual Diagnosis Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment Center located in Because, no one knows you better than you do.

When looking for a drug rehabilitation program in Annapolis or anywhere in Maryland, it is important that you find a place that fits you personally. At Tranquility Woods, we take time to know you and customize a program specifically for you. Our addiction recovery program options are virtually endless and each one is different from one individual to the next. Our clients collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified licensed professionals to design a customized treatment plan. This program is designed to help uncover underlying disorders (co-occurring disorders) and repressed traumas that can prevent successful recovery. Upon your arrival, you will quickly be taken by our gorgeous luxurious facility. You will be greeted by our intake specialist, who will show you around and introduce you to our staff. Immediately you will notice how warm and caring we are, from our housekeepers to our client advocates to our therapists and our physicians. We know that caring about what we do is what makes the difference between TW and other well-run facilities. There are other effective, well-run luxury treatment centers comparable to TW in California and perhaps Florida, but none as affordable and truly caring as TW. After settling in you will meet with our physicians, mental health specialists and therapists, all of who will collaborate to customize a treatment program for you. We feel it is important that our members help us to personalize their care. Throughout our stay you will be introduced to many new activities (recreational therapies) and life changing experiences. Along with these special moments and activities, the best therapists and physicians our specialty has to offer will treat you. Additionally you will interact in group therapy as well as individual one-on-one therapy almost every day. This is unique to most drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers. Many facilities boast of such care, but rarely deliver. Beyond the exemplary qualifications of our staff, it is important to know that we care. We truly care about you. We are grateful to have hosted today’s Capital Networking Group luncheon. Clinical Director Michelle McCoy, LCPC, LPC, LPCMH, Executive Director Tim Zukas, and other key staff members attended the lunch and learn. Thank you to Capital Networking Group for organizing such a wonderful event.

Our Executive Director Tim and Aftercare Coordinator Caitlin proudly represented Tranquility Woods alongside advocates, community leaders, and state officials to raise awareness about the overdose crisis and support real change in our communities.

Speakers included Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller, Special Secretary of Overdose Response Emily Keller, and others who shared powerful updates on Maryland’s efforts to reduce overdoses statewide.

While we’ve made progress, there’s still much more work to be done. Today was a strong reminder that when we come together with a shared purpose, our voices can help shape a healthier, safer future for all.
