We’re excited to share a fun and impactful fundraising initiative for Evolve Kidscareand it’s one that helps both our community and the environment! ♻️

This coming year, we’re collecting aluminum cans and can pull-tabs to support the amazing work Evolve Kidscare is doing. Every tab and every can adds up, and best of all, this is a no-cost way to make a real difference.

Why does this matter?
We’ve seen firsthand what small efforts can do—one elementary school raised enough money through can tabs alone to build an entirely new playground. It is possible, and it starts with simple actions like these.

By recycling, we’re not only raising funds for Evolve Kidscare, but also doing our part to reduce waste and protect the environment. Every can recycled keeps materials out of landfills and turns them into something meaningful for families in recovery.

Here’s how you can help:

Collect can tabs or whole aluminum cans

Ask friends, family, neighbors, and community members to join in

If you see a client with a can, tell them about the fundraiser and invite them to participate!

There will be small bins for can pull-tabs at the following locations:
- Mountain Rd
- IOP
- All 3.3, 3.1, and recovery houses
Whole cans can be dropped off at:

The holiday season can bring joy, but also stress, triggers, and high expectations. If you’re in recovery, it’s okay to prioritize your well-being first.
Practice self-kindness:
- Take a moment each day to breathe and reflect.
- Celebrate small wins in your recovery journey.
- Say “no” when you need to, and give yourself grace, not guilt.
- Remember: Recovery is progress, not perfection. Treat yourself with the same compassion you offer others, it’s a gift that lasts all year.
