It’s Discharge Friday… and this one’s a little extra special. 💙

🎓 Bailey’s last day with us after a year as our rehab tech! She’ll be heading off to OT school in August. A favorite among our patients, and we truly don’t know what we’ll do without her. Wishing her all the best in this next chapter!
🦵 Shelly came to us after a total knee revision. She could hardly walk and is now walking independently with minimal complaints.
👍 Tyrone came to us with hip and low back pain. He made great progress and is moving much better.
⛪ Harvey came to us after a stroke and is now back to participating in his pastoral duties with improved endurance.
🎉 Betty came to us with hip bursitis and is now walking with less pain.
✨ Tiffany came to us with left knee pain and is now pain-free and back to her normal routine.
🇺🇸 Michael suffered multiple shoulder injuries during football that required surgery. Through hard work in therapy, he has made an incredible recovery and is now back to full active duty in the U.S. Navy, including push-ups, pull-ups, planks, and building tasks.

We’re celebrating the amazing work our occupational therapists do every day to help patients regain independence and confidence.

“My days are centered around helping people recover from a variety of challenges, from rotator cuff tears to wrist fractures and hand injuries. I love guiding patients through the process of getting back their strength and independence.

One of the most rewarding parts of OT is building relationships with patients. Those connections often make all the difference in their recovery. And with every new evaluation comes a new challenge to solve and a new path forward to create.”

Hard work in, big results out—it's Discharge Friday 🎉

🦵 Tim came to us following knee surgery and worked hard on range of motion and strength to get back to work.
💪 Carol came to us with neck pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. She is now pain-free and has improved her strength.

It’s Good Friday and a GREAT Discharge Friday—what better way to head into Easter weekend than celebrating patients who have put in the work and reached their goals!

🏊‍♂️ Carter, a DSU swimmer, came to us with an MCL sprain and is now back competing!
🥎 Paislee came in with a knee injury and is now confidently playing softball and managing with her HEP.
🦵 Cynthia, following a knee replacement, has met all her goals and is feeling better than she has in a long time.
🙌 Carla came to us with right ankle pain and is now back to her daily activities with improved motion.
🎓 Demarian came in with low back pain and is now pain-free to finish out his senior year strong.
💪 Paul came to us with low back pain and weakness and has returned to his daily routine with less pain.
🏋️‍♀️ Rhonda, after a total knee replacement, is back to CrossFit—even lunging for the first time in 3 years!
👩‍⚕️ Dana came in with hip and SI issues and is now back to work as a nurse after improving mobility and strength.
🎾 Ed came to us with golfer’s elbow and is now lifting, carrying, and even throwing the ball for his dogs without pain.
