We are easily accessible by car as we are located close to the LIE and right off Sunrise Highway. The practice has a "neighborhood" feel to it as our staff is friendly, the equipment nice and the patient population often returning yearly. All pre-testing is done by an ophthalmic tech. We have a fundus camera, ECC, Topo, NCT, Digital Clear chart and an autorefractor.

Optometry Position Available

We are looking to hire an optometrist for every Friday from 10 AM until 6 PM, for a general full scope optometry practice (refraction, contact lens fitting, dilation and diagnosis).

The office is centrally located in Patchogue, Long Island. We are close to exit 61 on the LIE or right off exit 52 (Waverly Ave) on Sunrise Highway.

The office has nice equipment including: a fundus camera, an ECC, an autorefractor, a topographer, a digital acuity Clear Chart, and an automatic NCT.

The optometry techs do all the pre-testing and the staff is friendly and cooperative. The practice has a "neighborhood feel" as the patient population is usually recurrent, generally returning yearly.

It is not busy as we schedule appointments every 1/2 hour and see around 9 patients a day. We are looking for a practitioner who is personable and professional.

The base salary is $80/hr. plus additional financial incentives.

New grads are welcome and we can wait until the summer for NYS-2022 licensure.
