Advanced technology for earlier lung cancer diagnosis🤍

We are proud to be the only health system in Passaic County to offer Ion robotic bronchoscopy, an advanced, minimally invasive technology used to evaluate and biopsy lung nodules.

This robotic-assisted system allows physicians to reach small or difficult-to-access areas deep within the lungs using a thin catheter guided through the natural airway. The result is greater precision when collecting biopsy samples and the ability to diagnose lung cancer earlier, without the need for surgery.

As an organization founded by strong women, today we honor one of our own.

On International Women’s Day, we remember Sister Jane Frances Brady, whose bold leadership helped shape St. Joseph’s Health into the organization it is today. For nearly three decades, she guided our health system with conviction and compassion, always advocating for those in need.

Today we celebrate the women who came before us, the women who lead beside us, and the women who will carry this mission forward.

Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday. Clocks move forward one hour and even a small shift in sleep can impact your body.

To make the transition easier:
• Go to bed 15–30 minutes earlier
• Get natural sunlight in the morning
• Avoid caffeine late in the day
• Stay alert while driving on Monday

A little preparation can help you adjust while protecting your sleep routine.

Snow shoveling is one of the most common causes of winter back injuries.

Before you head outside, take a few minutes to protect your spine:
✔️ Warm up your muscles
✔️ Lift with your legs, not your back
✔️ Keep the shovel close to your body
✔️ Avoid twisting while lifting
✔️ Take frequent breaks

A few smart adjustments can help prevent strains and serious injury.
