🎨 Creativity in Recovery at Turning Point

At Turning Point, our residential clients have the opportunity to participate in art recreation several times each month, giving them a creative outlet that supports their recovery journey. Through jewelry making, crocheting, and other artistic activities, clients are able to express emotions that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.

Art can be a powerful tool in recovery. It helps reduce stress, encourages mindfulness, builds confidence, and provides a healthy way to process feelings. Creative activities also foster connection among peers, reminding clients that they are not alone on their path to healing.

Moments like these reinforce that recovery isn’t only about hard work—it’s also about rediscovering joy, creativity, and new ways to care for yourself. We’re grateful to provide experiences that nurture both the mind and spirit of those we serve. 💙🎨

On March 17, Turning Point will celebrate our marble anniversary! In those 51 years, we've had the privelege to serve thousands of clients across northern New Jersey and create real, enduring life changes. Everyone who comes through our doors has something to contribute to their community. We couldn't be more proud of our clients, grateful to our supporters, or focused on our long-term mission.
