We’ve received several questions about the SCAN Medicare plan for 2026. At this time, we are not contracted with SCAN, and the plan has confirmed they are not offering direct contracts with independent pharmacies.

We know this may affect some of our patients’ plan choices, and we truly appreciate those who’ve reached out expressing how important it is to continue using our pharmacy. If you’re considering SCAN or another Medicare plan, we encourage you to check with each plan directly to confirm whether your preferred pharmacy is in-network.

Some plans are not financially viable or have contract terms that limit our ability to provide the high standard of care we expect for our patients — so we choose not to participate in those networks.

Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 – December 7.
During this time, you can review and change your Medicare plan for coverage that starts January 1, 2026.
