Grocery gift cards will be available at our office tomorrow Thursday, Nov. 13th at 8:30 AM for families and individuals who have NOT received their benefits for the month of November.

You will need to bring the following:
-Photo ID
-Verification of Benefits
-EBT Card

Las tarjetas de regalo para supermercados estarán disponibles mañana Jueves 13 de Noviembre a las 8:30 a. m. en nuetra officina para las familias y personas que "NO" hayan recibido sus beneficios por el mes de Noviembre.

Community Update on Food Voucher Assistance

We understand and share the frustration that many in our community are feeling right now. The recent changes to food benefits have created hardship for many families, and the demand for assistance has been overwhelming. Our Family Resource Centers are doing everything they can to respond quickly and compassionately.

Unfortunately, our supply of food vouchers is limited. We know that long lines, limited availability, and eligibility requirements can be disappointing and stressful. We truly empathize with everyone affected.

As we continue to manage this increased demand, we will work on providing updates on social media to communicate our available resources. These updates will include information about voucher availability, eligibility, and distribution times to help keep our community informed. Our goal is to make the process as transparent and fair as possible.

We kindly ask for your understanding and patience as we adapt and put procedures in place to meet the growing needs of our community. Our staff and partners are working tirelessly to support as many people as we can with care, respect, and integrity.

Thank you for standing with us as we navigate this challenging time together.

The line for grocery gift cards is closed for today. We are distributing the last of our cards to the families currently here. There will be more available sometime this upcoming week. We will post updates as we learn more. Thank you everyone for your patience and support.

Attention CalFresh recipients: Patterson Family Resource Center now has grocery cards available to individuals and families whose benefits are delayed as a result of the government shutdown.
Stop by our office during the hours shown below for help. No appointment needed. Please bring the following items:
-Your government-issued photo ID.
-Verification of Benefits letter.
The Verification of Benefits letter is sent to all CalFresh recipients in the mail by the county. If you no longer have that letter, you can download it in the BenefitsCal website or app. The following link shows how to download the letter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KXAQOxdRA8. Do not worry if you are unable to obtain this letter or digital download, our staff will be ready to help you access it.
These grocery cards are made possible by our wonderful funders, partners, and donors across Stanislaus County. Supply is limited, but we are working to ensure that we are able to serve as many CalFresh recipients as possible.

Due to the federal government shutdown, over 90,000 Stanislaus County residents have lost access to CalFresh (SNAP) benefits as of November 1. These are our neighbors: families, seniors, veterans, and college students. Local food pantries are already seeing a surge in need, and they need your help.
