🔥 1. Describe leadership in 3 words? Inspire, Guide, & Listen
🔥 2. Where have you seen the most growth in your own leadership journey?
My growth throughout my leadership journey has come from learning to believe in myself and gaining a deeper understanding of my strengths, weaknesses, and challenges. I’ve discovered that leadership develops through learning from others as well as from personal experience, staying focused on the impact I want to make, and continually seeking feedback to grow.
🔥 3. What's your current toughest leadership challenge in the industry you are in?
My toughest leadership challenge in my industry is the pressure to please everyone. Working in a nonprofit and membership-based organization means engaging with a wide range of industries and perspectives. Navigating those differing expectations without disappointing individuals has always been a significant challenge for me.
🔥 4. What leader (dead or alive) would you love to have coffee with?
Walt Disney, because he never stopped believing in his vision. I admire how he consistently thought outside the box, regardless of the pressures or doubts from those around him. I would love to learn how he maintained that creativity, resilience, and forward-thinking mindset.
