Our social and wellness teams joined our Members on an roadtrip to the Mepkin Abbey Crèche Festival, and what a beautiful day it was! 🌿 The festival offers a self-guided and accessible walking tour, delicious hot cocoa, cookies, a gift shop, and even a Crèche Store for anyone inspired to start a collection of their very own. Members enjoyed a peaceful stroll through the Abbey grounds, taking in all the hand-carved nativity sets from around the world. 🌍 If you go, take our Members' advice and grab a cup of cocoa to sip on as you stroll. 😉 ☕️

Our most recent local outing led us to the Hobcaw Barony in Georgetown! 🌳 Just minutes from The Lakes at Litchfield, we learned so much about the history of our community. Richard Camlin, the Director of Education, guided us through the reserve, sharing information about everything from the colonial period to the Native Americans who once utilized the land for production. 🗺️ What a great way to learn about the area that surrounds Pawley's Island and even connect with nature. ☀️
